Presented by the Royal Dublin Society to the Champion Performance Irish Draught in the show. The first and second prize-winners in Classes 43 & 44 will compete for this trophy.

Cup No. 121 – Perpetual Challenge Cup

Presented by the Royal Dublin Society for the Best Riding Horse in the Show. The 1st and 2nd prize-winners in Classes 25 and 26 will compete for this Trophy.

Class 70: Connemara Performance Hunter

Stallions, Mares & Geldings, five to seven years old inclusive. To be ridden by riders who have attained their 14th birthday by 1 January 2015.

Cup No. 153 – Perpetual Challenge Trophy

Presented by the Royal Dublin Society to the winner of the Connemara Performance Hunter Championship (Class 70).

Class 20: Small Hunters

Class 71: Connemara Performance Hunter

Presented by the Royal Dublin Society to the winner of the Connemara Performance Hunter Championship (Class 71).

Class 21: Small Hunters

Mares & geldings, six years old or over. Over 148cms but not exceeding 158cms. To be ridden by riders who have attained their 14th birthday by 1 January 2015.

Cup No. 35 – Perpetual Challenge Cup

Presented by the Royal Dublin Society for the Best Small Hunter in the Show. The first and second prize winners in classes 20 and 21 will compete for this Cup.

Class 61: Three Year Old Potential Event Horse

Judging to be marked as follows: 30 points for Conformation (Looking for excellent all round conformation) 20 points for Walk and Trot (Freedom of pace, exhibiting power, lightness, balance & athleticism) 30 points for Canter (Correct, elastic, regular through a swinging back, length of stride, balance, self-carriage & lightness) 30 points for Jumping (Scope, athleticism, technique – use of the head, neck and shoulders, suppleness of back open/tight haunches) 10 points for Reflexes (Quickness of reflexes) 10 points for Standard of Training & presentation 20 points for Potential & Suitability (Quality, presence & temperament) 150 points Total ‘Economy of Effort’ in jumping will be rewarded. No points for unnatural or exaggerated performances.

Cup No. 152 – Perpetual Challenge Trophy

Presented by the Royal Dublin Society to the winner of the Potential Event Horse Class.
