				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The annual summer showjumping league is planned for Wednesdays 19th &amp; 26th June &amp; Wednesday 3rd July with the final being on Wednesday 10th July at Ecclesville; commencing at 7pm with the 60cm class followed by 70cm, 80cm, 90cm &amp; 1 metre. The metre class includes a timed jump off round for those wishing to practice their jump off’s against the clock! The Club are hoping to secure Perpetual Cups for each of these classes this year, for awarding on the final night to the league winners. Everyone is very welcome to come along.<br />
Currently members are enjoying showjumping training with Mandi King &amp; Phillippa McKee will return at the end of the month to take members for a session of flatwork training.<br />
The summer schedule commences at the beginning of June &amp; William Anderson is the instructor for 2 weeks at O’Hagan’s arena, Seskinore. Members also look forward to the forthcoming NIRC Showjumping Championships at The Meadows Equestrian Centre in June.<br />
A cross country schooling session will take place at Drumragh House by kind permission of Mr &amp; Mrs David Campbell at the start of July &amp; Mandi King will return to take members for showjumping training at Tyrone Farming Society Showgrounds after Omagh Show by kind permission of Tyrone Farming Society &amp; Mandi will continue these lessons through July. A cross country schooling session &amp; BBQ has also been arranged for the end of July at Beltrim Castle, Gortin by kind permission of Lucinda Blakiston-Houston.<br />
To finish the summer schedule a hack will take place at Castle Leslie Equestrian Centre in August &amp; also a beach ride at Murvagh, Co Donegal.<br />

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>STRULE VALLEY RIDING CLUB members have been busy lately with their annual easter charity pleasure ride at Baronscourt by kind permission of the Duke &amp; Duchess of Abercorn, &amp; also in April showjumping training with Mandi King at Ecclesville.</p>
<p>A team competed at Seskinore &amp; Ecclesville Riding Club’s annual inter club team showjumping event recently at Ecclesville &amp; were delighted to pick up 3rd place out of 9 teams. Riding on the team were George &amp; Alison Donnell, PK &amp; Karen Glendinning &amp; daughter Laura Glendinning on her beautiful dun Gypsy &amp; Rosie &amp; Helen Badger. Karen, Laura &amp; Helen all making their debut for the Club!</p>
<p>Phillippa McKee will return to the Club to take members for flatwork in May &amp; also members look forward to 3 weeks showjumping training with Mandi King.</p>
<p>The Club would like to invite everyone to their working hunter competition planned for Saturday 11th May at Ecclesville commencing at 11am with the pony classes. Class 1 – 60cm, Class 2 – 70cm, Class 3 – 80cm &amp; Class 4 – 90cm. This is followed by the pony championship where the 1st &amp; 2nds from each class will go forward for champion &amp; reserve. Horses will commence at approximately 1.30pm with Class 5 – 70cm, Class 6 – 80cm, Class 7 – 90cm &amp; Class 8 – 1 metre. Again a horse championship will take place after this. The Rosie O’Grady Perpetual Cup will be awarded to the highest placed SVRC member &amp; champion &amp; reserve champion rosettes have been very kindly sponsored by Mr &amp; Mrs Noel Regan.</p>
<p>Saturday 18th May takes members &amp; their horses to Moira Equestrian Centre for some cross country schooling &amp; on Bank Holiday Monday 27th May, the Club are planning a trip to the Irish National Stud &amp; Japanese Gardens in Co Kildare; so if you haven’t declared your interest, do so now!</p>
<p>Another date for your diary is the annual summer showjumping league which takes place at Ecclesville on Wednesday nights during June/July – date to be confirmed. Classes for everyone &amp; a further Arena Eventing Competition will take place in the summer!</p>
