Two busy showjumping arenas were in action at Saturday’s Saintfield Charity Horse Show, held once again at Tyrella House. After a wet start to the day, the horse arena hosted some stiff competition, as well as also proving to be a useful learning experience for many novice horses and new combinations. The neighbouring pony arena saw a steady stream of young riders passing through the start line, all eager to prove themselves and perhaps even take home a red rosette or trophy! As usual, two immaculate courses were presented by Raymond Jess, rideable and inviting with a tricky question or two thrown in for good measure.

Head of Showjumping Seamus Rodgers would like to thank judges Gail Smyth and Lyn Palmer, as well as arena stewards Lynne, Patrick, James and Matthew for all their time and effort.
