<p>National Trust at Rowallane Garden Saintfield hosted The Launch of this years Saintfield Christmas Charity Ride on Saturday 7th.December and The Yuletide Market at Rowallane Garden on Saturday 7th.and Sunday 8th.December.</p>
</div>
<div></div>
<div>The natural beauty of Rowallane on a crisp, sunny late Nov.day was breath taking. The place was buzzing with old world charm when the carriage arrived at the front of the house drawn by two magnificent black fresian horses with Santa on board.This was quickly followed by two beautiful Ladies riding side saddle and wearing full hunting costume. Sponsors, The Media and Higharchy from Down district council were among the guests who attended. No one could have been blamed for thinking they had just arrived in &#8220;Downton Abbey&#8221; when they were greeted by the butler wearing full regalia and carrying a silver tray with champagne for everyone.</div>
<div></div>
<div></div>
<div>The Saintfield Christmas Charity Ride will meet at Saintfield Livestock Mart. by kind permission of Brian and Geoffrey Murphy on the Belfast Rd. at 11 am for a Mulled Wine and mince Pie Reception leaving the Mart at 12.00 noon and should arrive in Saintfield Town Centre at approx. 1.00pm Led by the &#8220;Real Santa&#8221; and celebrity guests in one of George Fawcetts magnificent carriages.</div>
<div></div>
<div></div>
<div>Last year around 300 santas swarmed the Main St. This spectacular sight is not to be missed. Santa and guests will alight from the carriage at the Christmas Tree in the middle of the town where everyone will be entertained by live Christmas Music and Carols before returning to the Mart. for Lunch and more live music by Panache and plenty of craic with comedian Terence McKeag. Children can meet Santa and Purchase a present if they wish.</div>
<div></div>
<div></div>
<div>Entrance into the Marquee is free and anyone wishing to buy Lunch can do so for a donation of £5 children under12 free. The cost of the ride will be £20 for adults and £10 for children which will include the mulled wine reception and Lunch.</div>
<div></div>
<div></div>
<div>Why not get yourself Sponsored? Sponsorship forms can be downloaded from the New Website or face book. There is great prizes to be won for who ever gets the most Sponsorship money in each age category and for the best dressed Santas. Every child under 12 who takes part in the ride will receive an award.</div>
