Open Dressage Champions Caroline Herron, Clantara Midnight Classic

The show committee were delighted to have to opportunity to use the main arena at Balmoral Park , the ground conditions were perfect and the riders enjoyed the chance to ride in this super all weather Grass international arena.

This year extra classes were added to encourage beginners, British Dressage Intro A and B which
are designed to introduce the novice horse or rider to dressage .
It was lovely to see These new classes well supported and hopefully encouraged more at this level
to come and have a go next year.

There were also 3 new championship classes for Young riders, at Introductory , Preliminary and
Novice levels . The under 21′s had some of the best scores of the day , with Abigail Carlisle scoring
81.66 % in novice 34 , Sophie Williams getting 79.16 % and Amy Neill and Izzey Riley also scoring
78% in their classes.
