Results Sunday 7^th December 2014

Sunday saw the final show of the show Jumping League at Lime Park Equestrian.  Although the weather was cold and wet, all those who qualified turned out in force.

Sponsors for day were Stonebridge Horse Feeds of Crumlin, who put up bags of feed and a lovely body warmer,  also Get a Whip Ireland supplied the final with a nice selection of  whips, WLM Security put up boxes of sweets and gift vouchers and Lime Park Equestrian & Tack Shop put up other gift vouchers, tack and wee medals for all the beginners.  As usual the coveted  Lime Park Rug were up for grabs!

LimePark would like to thank all those who competed throughout the league and for all those who helped especially the assistant Judge Nic Wilson!

Final this Sunday 7^th December, starting at 11.00am for Ponies beginning with Beginners followed by 50cms, 65cms, 80cms & 90cms open.  Horses will start at 3.00pm APPROX. competitions will include 70cms, 80cms, 90cms, and 1.00mtr and 1.10mtr.  Competitions will be run as a two round class and ridden American Style; all riders will get to jump their second round regardless of faults in first round.  Beginners will be one round of jumping and riders can be lead in this competition.

Competitors must attend 3 shows out of 5 plus the Final to qualify and must be the same horse/pony rider combination and same competition. Pony size is classed as 14.2hh or 148cms.

Unqualified riders may still jump on Sunday but just will not be in for the prizes!

As in previous years all riders who qualify will receive a prize in the final regardless of how they jump!!

Sunday saw another great show at Lime Park Equestrian.  The sun shone and the competitors were out in force for the 4^th week of the league!  Courses flowed and jumping was good with plenty of room to warm up in the outdoor arena.

Sunday 1st December 2013 saw the final of Lime Park Equestrian show jumping League. There was great excitement as the show got underway at 11am with the Beginner competition. All qualified riders received a special rosette and a lovely medal for taking part. 50cms followed on with double clears drawing for grooming kits, clothing and show jumping clinic vouchers sponsored by Lime Park Equestrian and Tack Shop. The show moved on to 65cms where there was more clothing, grooming kits, vouchers and a Lime Park rug up for grabs!!! 80cms received horse feed sponsored by Stonebridge Horse Feeds, a new bagged haylage line sponsored by Equestrian Farm Feeds , and a lovely numah sponsored by Grace Lavery of Equestrian News NI. 90cms open was an exciting competition with the jump off proving to be great viewing prizes up for grabs were a cash prize, another Lime Park Rug, another numah from Equestrian News NI and feed from Stonebridge Feeds and Equestrian Farm Feed.

The afternoon seen the start of the horse competitions with 70cms horses receiving another Numah and medals for participation 80cms competed for the Lime Park Rug and Equestrian News NI Numah, 90cms jumped for a Lime Park Rug and Stonebridge Feed and Equestrian Farm Feeds Haylage, 1mtr saw more feed and haylage and finally 1.10mt the fourth rug up for grabs and more feed!

A special prize went to Wilma Megarry for jumping double clear throughout the league!

Competitors were all very pleased with their winnings!

Next Show Jumping is THE FINAL on SUNDAY 3^RD FEBRUARY 2013. . To qualify riders must have jumped 2 out of the 3 shows and the final. Competitions are Beginners / Warm up (which is suitable for lead rein or beginners or a warm up round) followed by 50cms, 65cms, 80cms and 90cms Ponies.  Horses start at approx 2.30pm (depending on pony entries) with 70cms, 80cms, 90cms, 1.00mtr, 1.10mtr and higher if the demand is there.
