Results Sunday 7^th December 2014

Sunday saw the final show of the show Jumping League at Lime Park Equestrian.  Although the weather was cold and wet, all those who qualified turned out in force.

Sponsors for day were Stonebridge Horse Feeds of Crumlin, who put up bags of feed and a lovely body warmer,  also Get a Whip Ireland supplied the final with a nice selection of  whips, WLM Security put up boxes of sweets and gift vouchers and Lime Park Equestrian & Tack Shop put up other gift vouchers, tack and wee medals for all the beginners.  As usual the coveted  Lime Park Rug were up for grabs!

LimePark would like to thank all those who competed throughout the league and for all those who helped especially the assistant Judge Nic Wilson!

Next show at LimePark will be the Annual Christmas Show on Sunday 28t December Dec, starting at 11am, there will be fancy dress, gymkhana games and some jumping

Results Sunday 16^th Nov 2014

Sunday saw another great show at Lime Park Equestrian.  The sun shone and the competitors were out in force for the 3^rd week of the league!  Courses flowed and jumping was good with plenty of room to warm up in the outdoor arena.

Next show this Sunday 23^rd November, starting at 11.00am for Ponies beginning with Beginners followed by 50cms, 65cms, 80cms & 90cms open.  Horses will start at 2.30pm APPROX. competitions will include 70cms, 80cms, 90cms, and 1.00mtr and 1.10mtr.  Competitions will be run as a two round class and ridden American Style, all riders will get to jump their second round regardless of faults in first round.  Beginners will be one round of jumping and riders can be lead in this competition.

Competitors must attend 3 shows out of 5 plus the Final to qualify and must be the same horse/pony rider combination. Pony size is classed as 14.2hh or 148cms.

As in previous years all riders who qualify will receive a prize in the final regardless of how they jump!!

LimePark Equestrian Centre, Maghaberry saw a great start to their Annual Horse & Pony Show Jumping League on Sunday 2^nd November!

The League will run over 6 consecutive Sundays with the Final being held on Sunday 7^th December 14.  Shows will start at 11.00am for Ponies beginning with Beginners followed by 50cms, 65cms, 80cms & 90cms open.  Horses will start at 2.30pm APPROX. competitions will include 70cms, 80cms, 90cms, and 1.00mtr and 1.10mtr.  Competitions will be run as a two round class and ridden American Style, all riders will get to jump their second round regardless of faults in first round.  Beginners will be one round of jumping and riders can be lead in this competition.

Courses were designed and built by Mickey McCann and the newly painted fences looked well.

Standard of jumping was very high with most getting double clears!

The League final is this Sunday 1st December with ponies starting at 11.00am with Beginners followed by 50cms, 65cms, 80cms & 90cms open. 2.30pm approx will see the start of the horse jumping with 70 cms, 80cms, 90cms, 1.00mt & 1.10mt

Lime Park’s Christmas show will be held on Sunday 8th December Sunday 1st

To qualify for the final competitors must attend 2 shows out of the 4, do the same competitions and same horse/pony rider combination!
