With a series of 3 flatwork lessons under our belts with Mark Robinson we move onto the next batch of lessons which are show jumping starting in November and running into December also with Mark.
Last week saw our Halloween Party in full swing.  It was fancy dress (for both horse and rider!) and the evening consisted of pony games and chase me Charlie.  Nicci Hall won the best fancy dress costume as Queen of Hearts with Kate Latimer coming in second dressed as the devil on horseback.  The chase me Charlie competition was won by Rachel McCaughey on Cassey with Rozy Corry on Calvyn coming in second.
The 2016 timetable is now up on the website (www.lecaleridingclub.co.uk) and has the new 2016 schedule available which includes the popular horse challenge and flatwork and jumping leagues.  Pilates for horse riders and fun nights & casual get togethers are also on the cards.  Why not pop in and see us on a club night!!

The Club is normally based out of Lusks Equestrian Centre in Carryduff and caters for all levels of ability for both horse and rider. Group lessons are starting shortly for flatwork and jumping with fun nights, demonstrations in the calendar too, not to mention the popular halloween party night (on horseback!) and club Christmas dinner.

A popular event is the annual Horse Challenge competition in the new year which covers everything from dressage, show jumping, working hunter, XC and even a few fun things thrown in such as prix caprilli and dressage to music! Membership runs from July to July so now is a perfect time to join. Tuesday 18th August is the next calendar date with a show jumping and flatwork demonstration.  Why not contact the club on info@lecaleridingclub.co.uk for information or just to say hello!
