A fantastic day of dressage at Laurel View on 13^th January, long and a tad on the cold, miserable side, but a great show all the same.

 McCracken and Katherine Hall had the BD Intro B test cracked according to Geraldine Lowry’s results, with Digby and Erin Mathieson, taking home blue.

Newcomers rode Prelim 7 in front of Laurel Faloona, who declared that Pearl and Ellie Ross were the winners, with Aimee Huddleson and Legally Bay taking the second placed rosette.

Prelim 13 was the test assessed by the Class 3 judge Ivor Harper.  The clear winner was X Rated ridden by Sharon Watters, with a tie for second between The Ferryman ridden by Sophie Winn and Midnight Reflection ridden by Karina McVeigh.

Will McAuley was in the judges seat for classes 4 and 5.  Jill Hobson and Ludovik K, rode a lovely Prelim 18 test to win Class 4 with Sharon Watters and X Rated taking the second spot.  In Class 5 the honours went to Hill Dancer and Lucca Stubington for their Novice 28 test, with Ryan Hopper on Quintessential taking the blue ribbon.

Alison Mastin Moore had the task of judging the strong Open Class, the winner was decreed to be Ryan Hopper and Quintessential for their Novice test, with Erin Faloona and Orchard Affair’s Novice test a very close second.

Equi-Tog photographers continued to take photographs despite the biting North wind.

To all involved in running another great dressage day at Laurel View a massive vote of appreciation and more of the same to the competitors for making it all worthwhile.

All of the riders have collected an entry to the super prize draw sponsored by Clogher Valley Country Caravan Park.  The league continues with the Charity Show on 10th February and rounds up with the final and prize draw on 24^th February.
