Connell Hill hosted the most recent leg of the Inter-Venue Tour on Sunday which saw competitors turn out in full show attire to jump a flowing and inviting track.  The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyed by not only the competitors but spectators and indeed the horses.  The show commenced with the 70 cm class with some super rounds of jumping which saw Ciara Heron on ‘QT Blue’, Brian Kelly on ‘Juno’, Jamie-Leigh Wilkin on ‘Ashantih Dream’ and ‘Star Status’.  First place was claimed by Helen Hoffin on ‘Rachel’ in the 80 cm class with Caitlin Foster on ‘Woody’ speeding home in first place in the 90 cm class.  Sharon Junk on ‘Miss Foyleview Promise’ jumped a speedy and efficient round to claim victory in the 1.0 m class.  When it came to the 1.10 m class Dean Cotton on ‘Cruise’ stormed to the top of the leader board and the last class of the day, the 1.20 m class, saw Carine Fullerton on ’Sylvester’, her new horse, take the honours of first place.
