This most exciting day kicked off with the 70 cm class which saw Ciara Heron on ‘QT Blue’ take the first rug of the day as they won this first class.  Lynn Lowry on ‘My Mustang Sally’ jumped a superb double clear taking the honours of first place in the 80 cm class.  As the day moved forward Julie Blakley on ‘ Innishowen Clover’ took first placing in the 1.0 m class and 1.10 m class much to young Olivers’ delight cheering as Carrie Townsend, Equine Sports Therapy, presented the rugs.  Ending a most successful tour the last class of the day, the 1.20 m class, saw Carine Fullerton on ‘Sylvester’ pull out all the stops displaying a skilfully ridden double clear winning the last rug of the show.

Tori Showkum on Tally Ho, Ciarra Heron on QT Blue and Ruth Hunter on Roundstone Star Express

Tori Showkum and Tally Ho were the stars of the show at Portmore’s recent Inter-venue tour on 23rd November.  This new combination claimed first place in the 80cm and 90cm classes setting times that just couldn’t be caught!

Victoria Beattie and Rodney provided the first clear of the competition in style, with lots of young horses and new combinations enjoying the experience.  Tracey Lockhart and Loughview Clover Jones won the 1m class 8 seconds clear, while Lucy Stewart on Rose, and Julie Blakely on Murphy also provided foot perfect rounds.

The final of the Intervenue tour is due to be held on at 7th at Connell Hill starting at 10am with classes from 70cm to 1.20m
