Winners of the 30cm class Grace Morton and Rocky

Knockagh View Equestrian Centre, Greenisland held an All Silver showjumping day on Sunday.  As usual it was well supported with competitors eager to take home one of Knockagh View’s beautiful trophies which gave spectators some great jumping throughout the day.  Our little competitors started the day off with 30cms to 60cms without spreads, these classes were drawn for placings.  In the 30cm class Grace Morton had another very successful day taking home the trophy for top spot and finishing 2nd in the 40cm class with a delighted Matthew Johnston lifting the trophy with his pony Star.

The 50cm class saw a well deserved win for Robbie McCartney on Barney Sugar, Katelyn Irvine jumped a beautiful clear in the 60cm class without spreads on Sparky to end up in first place.  Then the speed rounds got underway, Emily Cloke put in a fast clear on Willie Mac to win a strong 60cm class and take home a gorgeous trophy.  There was no catching Megan Ingram on Thizbee
who had 2 flying clears to win the 70 & 80cm classes.

The 90cm class was topped by a delighted Laura Millar riding Nicky who made light work of the course.  The final class of the day gave us just one beautiful clear round from Tori Dixon on Scooby to win the last trophy of the day.

Knockagh View are continuing their All Silver theme throughout the summer months with Fun Days for all, these days will have 2 arena’s with arena 1 starting at 11am with showjumping from 30cms to 1M, arena 2 will have a range of ridden classes to include lead rein, family pony, first ridden and a horse ridden class.  These will take place on Sundays 25th May, 22nd June, 27th July and 31st August. Mid Week outdoor league at Knockagh

Its that time again when th Mid week jumping can move outdoors into Knockagh View’s fabulous outdoor arena.  The league starts on Wednesday 7th May and runs for 8 weeks with the best 4 score going forward to the final night.  As usual there will be lovely prizes up for grabs on the final night.  Jumping starts each week at 6.30pm with 60cms to 1M.  For more details contact Ruth on 07732809188
